ABOUT HAK PERSIANS SAFFRON

95% of world Saffron comes from Iran. It has traditionally been grown in Khorasan. An area “about size of England” in North-East of Iran having ideal soil and positive climate condition for the crop. Saffron is a valuable spice with origin in Zagros Mountain are called “Mede” era. Every day during one month harvest season that starts around mid-October over 400,000 people in South Khorasan get up before down goes to field and pick the beautiful delight lilac flowers that have been bloomed overnight.
